Collaborative Care is a small traditional Chinese medicine clinic in Chicago that offers highly personalized fertility and pregnancy support; not only do we collaborate with other medical providers to provide you optimal care, we also work hand-in-hand with you, our patient, to create an individualized, integrative treatment plan.
Our holistic approach strengthens your reproductive health in order to optimize your chances of a successful pregnancy. Our proprietary treatment is effective for patients seeking an entirely natural approach to enhance their fertility, as well as patients utilizing Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) methods. Our patients tend to have persistent difficulties in becoming and/or staying pregnant and may be experiencing any of the following:
• Diminished ovarian reserve
• Poor response to IVF medications
• Advanced maternal age
• Irregular menstrual cycles
Traditional Chinese Medicine is especially effective in treating these cases. Our specialized treatment is most effective when we begin treating the patient 1-2 months before her next FET cycle and 3 to 4 months prior to a fresh IVF cycle.
We also treat patients who would like to get pregnant through natural and healthy methods by enhancing their fertility health.
Who We Are
Since founding Collaborative Care in 2007, Jackie O’Neill has become the Chicago area’s “go-to” Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) provider for women experiencing prolonged fertility journeys. Her proprietary treatment has helped hundreds of patients with previously poor fertility diagnoses to achieve full-term pregnancies. Her experience working with women and couples facing a broad range of infertility challenges has enabled Jackie to create a highly successful, unique treatment protocol using a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and nutritional support. Jackie’s extensive knowledge of TCM and experience treating a diverse range of infertility cases is quite unique and makes her a highly valued resource for her patients.
The daughter of a downtown Los Angeles neighborhood pharmacist, Jackie always knew she wanted a career in medicine, but it was her interest in botany that clarified her intent and aided in her decision to pursue a degree in Chinese medicine.
Jackie received her master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she taught a series of Chinese herb classes. She is nationally board certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbology and a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
