If you are struggling to get pregnant and want compassionate, informed, holistic care, go see Jackie O’Neill at Collaborative Care. I’m 12 weeks pregnant after trying for 18 months, and I credit Jackie’s comprehensive approach and deep knowledge of all things reproductive. If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have investigated immunological disorders that might’ve been preventing me from getting pregnant (turns out I have one!). On top of that, she is simply one of the kindest, warmest acupuncturists you’ll ever meet. I continue to receive acupuncture from her during my pregnancy and always look forward to the calm, relaxing atmosphere inside her clinic.- Jeanine
Jackie O’Neill is a wonderful acupuncturist. She answers your questions and is very knowledgeable with infertility issues. She is kind and makes you feel comfortable. I recently miscarried and Jackie called me at home late on a Saturday night to check on me. She went above and beyond. I would recommend her to anyone with infertility problems.- K.H.
Not only is Jackie an extremely knowledgeable and competent acupuncturist and herbologist, she is also kind, caring, thoughtful and compassionate. She takes the time to talk to you before each session about how you’re feeling, physically and emotionally, and she listens to everything you say. One particular day last winter, I was feeling very blue. I went to my appointment with Jackie, and she could tell immediately that I was in the dumps simply by the way my pulses felt. I hadn’t said a word about my state of mind. She gently probed me about how I was feeling, which in turn proved to be cathartic for me. I was able to cry and let her know my fears about my fertility and my future, and she listened with a most sympathetic ear. Even when you may feel hopeless about your fertility, Jackie doesn’t give up on you. - Kathleen
I can’ t stop recommending Jackie O’ Neill to my conception minded friends! I first met Jackie in November after 4 failed rounds of IVF. My doctors all told me that the likelihood of a natural pregnancy was so low that I was off their charts. I’ m 39 years old with no prior pregnancies, only one ovary, and a low antral follicle count. My husband and I weren’ t ready to give up, so we decided to try it on our own for six months… After three months of weekly treatments, I successfully conceived and am now 11 weeks pregnant! I am so appreciative of the personal attention I received from Jackie. I’ ll admit that in the beginning, I wasn’t predisposed to holistic or alternative forms of medicine so I was very relieved to find that Jackie always supported and complemented the care that I received from traditional medicine. She is extremely knowledgeable about Chinese, as well as conventional or more traditional, remedies for infertility. The changes that I noticed in my body from week to week were subtle, but significant. More importantly, it worked! - Sarah
I decided to try acupuncture after my reproductive endocrinologist suggested it as a way to relax. Although the thought of needles didn’t exactly sound relaxing, I decided to give it a try. Through an internet search I found the Collaborative Care website and feel very lucky that I did. Jackie is a constant source of advice and knowledge. I can’t stress enough how helpful it is to have someone to discuss test results with, side effects of medications, and the emotional effects of infertility treatments with. Jackie is extremely knowledgeable on all the different infertility treatments. She always suggested holistic remedies such as herbs or nutritional changes in conjunction with my treatments and diagnoses. During my first trimester the acupuncture really helped with early pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness, and Jackie helped me deal with the anxiety over the pregnancy. Even though I am now in my second trimester, I decided to continue treatment because I enjoy and get so much benefit from my appointments. I can’t stress enough how helpful acupuncture with Jackie has been for me.” – Rachel
I would also add that I found your knowledge about fertility was really helpful. At the doctor’s office, I didn’t feel as though they could spend the time with me that you could in answering questions. You were also helpful in giving me advice, such as about certain foods to add to or abstain from in my diet that would help fertility. You helped me to understand my BBT charts, as mine didn’t typically follow a “normal” pattern. Overall, I feel that my cycles became more regular and that I could see signs of ovulation that I hadn’t seen before acupuncture. The whole process was relaxing, not only the actual acupuncture but being able to confide in you and listen to your advice and thoughts. I really think that the combination of Eastern and Western medicine is what helped me to become pregnant. I like that acupuncture focuses on the “whole person” because Western medicine, especially related to fertility, does not (in my experience, anyway!). Thank you, again! I am so happy that I’ve come this far and I couldn’t have done it without you. I really appreciate it! I had a great experience with acupuncture. -Moira
The labor and delivery went really well. My doctor and the nurse said it was especially good for a first time Mom. I only had to push for 1.5 hrs and I dilated pretty quickly. I attribute this smooth operation to your handy work.
Thank you so much for helping us through this amazing process! - Gina
It’s no wonder I have such a happy baby. The acupuncture I received from Jackie really calmed me and made my baby come out just in time! – Katrina
